The problem we kept running into
We both worked inside growing companies before Atlantic. Ege ran operations at a fast-moving startup. Yara built the backend systems that were supposed to run automatically but kept needing human patches.
We saw the same failure mode in every AI agent project: great demos, production never happened. The tooling was built for engineers building agents, not for ops teams who needed to deploy them.
We started Atlantic in 2023 to close that gap. The agent OS concept is simple: give each role in your company a defined AI agent, with a scope it can act within and an escalation path when it needs a human. It is not magic. It is just structure that was missing.

How we build
Production first
We do not ship features that only work in controlled demos. If it doesn't hold up under real company load, it doesn't ship.
Ops leaders, not engineers
Our user is a director of operations who shouldn't need to read documentation to deploy an agent. If it requires a developer, we simplified the wrong thing.
Human oversight is the product
The escalation path is not a safety net. It is a first-class feature. Agents that can't tell you when they're out of their depth aren't production-ready.
